ComeBackDownload.com is a fan-hosted website devoted to Glen Phillips, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and the related side projects that emerged from the band. We feature loads of information, including lyrics, upcoming tour dates and the latest news. We have a message board where fans can come together and discuss anything and everything. In addition, we have plenty of downloadable music and videos. We also have information about the band members' latest projects, namely Glen Phillips' solo career and Todd Nichol's new band Lapdog. So have a look around and introduce yourself on the message board! If you have any questions about Toad or this website, or if you've got some information or media to share, feel free post on the boards, or contact us in private. Above all, though, have fun!

June 26, 2006 -- A new Toad show has surfaced on DVD. It's the 1991-12-20 performance at Mannequins in Bakersfield, CA. We're testing a new torrent tracker. If all goes well, you can download the show mininova.org. We've never used that tracker before, so wish us luck! UPDATE 2006-07-19: The torrent went very well; however, since there have been no leechers for several days, we will no longer be seeding. To those who downloaded the DVD: Enjoy!

June 26, 2006 -- Regretfully, the tracker on which the music video DVD torrent was running (see May 25 blurb below) was struck down shortly after its beginning. Instead of re-seeding the DVD, we have uploaded VCD versions on the videos page. Check them out!

May 14, 2006 -- After 3 years, over 2.2 terabytes of downloads, and over 150,000 hits, we've switched our provider for the site.  That required a massive migration of date and reorganizing ComeBackDownload.com.  As such, you may find some things missing--if so, let us know.  You may also find some new content that got lost in the shuffle over the last couple years.
April 29, 2006 -- Mr. Lemons shipped Thursday, and by Friday had begun to arrive at fans' doors. Since everyone's going to be buzzing about this, we here at ComeBackDownload.com have written up a brief song-by-song review of the new disc. Check it out here!

April 14, 2006 -- It's Good Friday, everyone, and do you know what that means? More Glen news! Mr. Lemons is available for pre-order, and the first 2,000 orders will be signed by the very fellow who sings the songs. Rumor has it Unlucky 7 may come free with the Mr. Lemons pre-orders, but who knows if that's true? In other news, three new songs (two originals, one cover) from Mr. Lemons are available on Glen's MySpace page. Needless to say, they all sound fantastic! To anyone worried about Glen covering a Huey Lewis song, be assured he makes it his own. Reports from listeners are beginning to come in, as a matter of fact, and so far everyone agrees Mr. Lemons is amazing! It has an interesting feel to it, almost like the Tornillo outtakes. It's certainly much different from Winter Pays For Summer or Abulum. We're all going to have to get it right away, come May 2!

March 04, 2006 -- As of a couple days ago, Glen's Winter Pays For Summer outtakes collection, called Unlucky 7, has been released. Unfortunately, it is presently available for purchase only at his solo shows. Don't worry, though, because Glen's going to sell it at his website in just a few days--probably not more than a week. In the mean time, just be patient. Don't ask for illegal copies or mp3s here or elsewhere. It will be available 100% legally very soon. Interestingly enough, Glen and his wife Laurel have been printing and cutting inserts, and stuffing them into jewel boxes all by hand. So when you buy Unlucky 7, you'll be buying a truly home made effort. Here's the tracklist: The Hole (currently available through Napster, for a charge) * Revelator (currently available on Glen's MySpace page) * Brain Trust Kid (currently available on the videos page of this site * Chapel Perilous (previously available on a various artists sampler; no longer available except on Lucky 7) * Black Dog Beside Me (currently available on Glen's MySpace page) * Let's Ruin Everything Tonight (previously unreleased) * The Innocent (previously unreleased). Please note that older studio versions of "The Hole" and "Chapel Perilous" are currently available on the mp3s page and live recordings of "Let's Ruin Everything Tonight" and "The Innocent" are available on the GPUSC.

February 22, 2006 -- Glen's myspace page is featuring a new song called "Black Dog Beside Me." This Winter Pays For Summer outtake, unlike the previous myspace release, is a Glen original, and may be released on a 7-track outtakes compilation. If true, these seven may include "Chapel Perilous," "The Revelator," "Black Dog Beside Me," "Always Returning," "The Hole," "Better Off Here" and possibly an alternate version of "Courage." Whatever the future holds, though, go check out "Black Dog" right now!

An internet-only release may precede the retail date, however, so watch closely! There will be eleven tracks, but so far only eight have been positively identified: "Everything But You," "I Will Make A Joyful Noise," "Marigolds," "I Want A New Drug" (Huey Lewis cover), "The Last Sunset," "Things Are Going To Change" (title unofficial), "Waiting" (title unofficial) and "Thank You" AKA "Open Me" (titles unofficial). February 17, 2006 -- Contrary to the rumors, Toad is not actually getting back together in the formal sense. However, three of the four guys will be performing together during Glen's summer tour. Glen will definitely be there, obviously, but we don't know which of the other three members will be sitting out. They will only perform together a few times, and as of right now we don't know the dates or venues. Rock on, guys!

What's more, he may make it available over the internet even sooner! On Jan. 12th, Andy Hunt (Glen's engineer) reported that the recording and mixing were both finished.
